I’m loving all of her right now. I’m really into nude shoes, and Emma Watson pulls it off as classy as anyone possibly can at the Elle Style Awards 2011, without any effort. I’ve been pairing nude shoes & nude cardigans over pastel dresses lately and adore the combination.. especially if you have legs like Emma, it’s flaunting you over your clothing. Bravo, girl.

This weekend I went with my boyfriend, who is a fashion photographer here in Miami to a birthday party in the penthouse of the SoHo Beach House in Miami Beach. When I tell you it was beautiful, that’s an understatement. If you’re looking for the ideal nautical hangout, look no further. They have SoHo houses across the world, this one in Miami is the newest addition to the family.
I admit, I buy cheap jewelry. So sue me! It’s just the green ring that’s embarrassing! Like sometimes I take off my jewelry mid day because it’s annoying, and I look down and see the NEW green ring that I DID NOT buy. Stupid.
Care for a cure? Try painting the inside of the cheap jewelry with clear coat nail polish. Works like a charm. And if you have the stain from NOT using this method, try heavy duty dish soap.
So…since my birthday is coming up I’ve compiled a wish list 😉 Actually, it’s just a short list of really cool, expensive things I’d love to show up on my doorstep 😀

Now, I’ve been looking at this quote for a couple of days (yes, I have been looking at it upside down, too. Hence the image) And I don’t know what to conclude. I mean I know what Giorgio Armani had in mind when he said it, but I don’t know how I want to interpret it. So, I’ve come to this:
Fashionista vs. Style Icon. Fashion is something you turn to when you don’t have good style. Fashion always points to high quality brands—style doesn’t. You can still have style without being “in fashion”. So when someone has good fashion, that’s the easy part. Finding your style is the creative part. And, as we all know–fashions fade but style is eternal.
